AFRICA FORUM FOR MUSLIM COUNCILS
AFMC is a religious body for uniting all Muslim councils in Africa. With an initial membership of 28 Muslim councils, AFMC started with the drive and thrive of bringing together African Muslim organizations and institutions for their own development, that of their continent and humankind at large. This was in response to the realization that Muslims need to organize themselves better to respond to the ever-growing need of their contribution to address challenges of the changing world, and calls for faith-based organizations to collaborate with regional and international bodies in addressing such issues at both continental and international level.
Our Vision
AFMC envisions a continent where Muslim national bodies come together and cooperate with other faith-based groups and make positive contributions towards creating peaceful and prosperous communities in Africa and the world.
Our Mission
AFMC hopes to mobilize communities and advocate for development within the member countries while responding to the challenges facing humanity.
